Ms. WANG Yan, aged 56, currently holds the qualification of senior mining engineer. She graduated in mining from Shenyang Gold Institute* in 1991 and completed the study of Business Administration at Jilin University in 2013. Ms. Wang worked in Changchun Gold Design Institute Co., Ltd. (“Changchun Gold Design Institute”) since August 1991 and has profound knowledge and experience in gold and mining industries. She has obtained qualifications for constructor, consultant engineer and cost engineer registered by the Ministry of Construction of the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”) and consulting engineer registered by the National Development and Reform Commission of the PRC. She is also the senior technical expert of China Metallurgical Construction Association and fellow member of China Cost Engineering Association. She has been awarded prizes in mining engineering and has published numerous papers of great academic value and significance in journals related to gold and Chinese mining engineering. She has worked in the mining industry for over 30 years. Ms. Wang had also worked as the head of the Budget and Final Accounts Office of Guizhou Jinxing Gold Mining Limited Liability Company* from November 2004 to November 2006. She was appointed as the director of China Gold Industry Engineering Construction Quota Station* between 2006 to July 2024, and was the deputy general manager of Changchun Gold Design Institute from April 2014 to July 2024.
